My support to the Georgian NRM sector started in 2007 with the support to the Transboundary Joint Secretariat for Nature Conservation, a KfW funded project in which I worked as project director and participation specialist. Further on I supported the ministries and agencies in the development of the forest policy document, the establishment of the National Forest Agency, in eco-compensation for the BTC pipeline and in the Twinning project supporting the Protected Areas system development within APA. Close working relations were established with APA, MoENR, WWF, CENN and other local and regional institutions. Details can be found in the project map.
